Sister Music Extravaganza!
The Jets

I don't know why I enjoy this so much, but I was reading economics the other day and I wondered, "What song by the The Jets is most identifiable to my sisters?" Who would know better than them? So I'm asking you to rank these on this criteria: 1. How much did you actually played this song? 2. How easily can you sing the song? 3.How well does the song tell your high school story? There are a few other MegaHits I could have included, like "Rocket 2 you", "Curiosity", and "Cross My Broken Heart". You can include those if applicable.
CRUSH ON YOU
This one has the best video by far.
YOU GOT IT ALL
I feel like this song was a staple for getting ready to go to school in the morning.
MAKE IT REAL
Lindsay used to listen to this song and think about Brett. Emily would console her.
I would rank them in the order I put them. The video of the first song is just too good, although the 3rd one has impressive graphics. The 2nd song is the most memorable.

the vacation is over.

I am now back into school, after stellar marks in my last semester. Although our break was brief, we capitalized with trips to Arches and Las Vegas. It was great--until I got a speeding ticket in Helper, Utah. It had been five spotless years, I thought I was on the slow-driving road to recovery. It came to a crashing halt in Helper, where all dreams go to die.
I took pictures at Arches, but not in Vegas. Many of you have been to both places, so they shouldn’t be too exciting for you.
Now I’m into the summer school grind. I'm taking Economics and Geography. I like them both, but I must read a lot. The job I was hoping to get isn’t hiring right now, so I’m passively looking for other jobs that might let me read textbooks on the job. Shouldn’t I be getting paid for that?
Lindsay, check out these updated Wii Scores. The Nintendo Wii was made for bored homemakers, not college students. You should get your game together.

Police Beat..and Marie Osmond!
This blog has had many themes and for a long time I've considered making the local campus Police Beat one of them. This first one comes from the April 2nd 2008 issue. I call special attention to the butter knife incident under the "Theft" section. (Click on the picture to make it bigger)

In unrelated news, I experienced my 3rd Provo close encounter with a celebrity. I was in Quiznos and saw Marie Osmond! The Dancing with the Stars star emerged from her Escalade full of snobby little brats and went into the adjacent AT&T store. She didn't look like a "Provo mom", she was every bit as dizzy as she was on the show. I lived to tell the tale.

My style is impetuous, my defense is impregnable, I'm just ferocious!
OK so Lindsay posted the Stevens family scores a few days ago, along with some taunts and trash talk. Some of their scores were higher. Unfortunately, Tara was out of town and so far hasn't been able to answer all of Lindsay's scores. As for Brett's 238 score in bowling? Vanquished. No one can so eloquently illustrate what I want to say better then Mike Tyson,
